A quick newsletter today, as I am off in a few minutes to have the color elements added to my new Avanyu tattoos. I should be done in about five hours, so I'm going to have Lynne hold off on sending this message until I can include photos. This newsletter is so short that it will mail very quickly, anyway...

The main reason that I have the luxury of writing a short news is that we were buried with orders for back issue comics, magazines, and trade paperbacks over the weekend. I sincerely thank all of you who helped us, as your support validated my decision to buy that huge deal of 100,000+ comics in Maine, on Saturday. That having been said, please do allow a little bit of extra time for your orders from this past weekend to ship, as our fulfillment crews are struggling right now to handle all of the orders that we received. We're running a couple of days behind right now, but have it as a goal to try and be caught up by the end of the week.

In the meantime, after discussing our options with my wife, Nanette, We have decided to go ahead and keep our completely free shipping program in place for you for the rest of this week. While it may take them a little longer to ship, any additional orders that we receive for back issue comics and magazines this week will ship entirely for free anywhere in the world, with no minimum order requirement. Orders for trade paperbacks and hardbacks to International destinations will incur a small per book charge, but book orders ship entirely free in the USA unless the items are really heavy, or exceptionally large. Orders for supplies, statues, or other heavy/large items will be shipped separately, at only our exact cost. We do need to pick the carriers with this free shipping program, and no express carriers are involved. Regardless, however, receiving discounts of 50%-60% off (posted right to our website!) and free shipping, is an incredible deal for you!

My final item for today is to let everyone know at we are postponing our trip to North Carolina until the middle of next month. We were going to leave tomorrow on that epic drive southwards from Ashley's home in Long Island, but upon reflection, we decided that it would make far more sense to wait on this trip until mid-November when we will be attending the Virginia Comic-Con in Richmond, and the Ultimate Comics Convention in Raleigh-Durham. As an alternate plan, Ashley and I will drive in the latter part of this week to visit our friends at a couple of comics shops in Delaware and Baltimore, and then attend John Paul's incredibly fun and friendly motel show in East Hanover, New Jersey on Sunday. I will then (finally...) return home to Colorado on Monday night, but only for a few days. I'm already making plans to attend Mid-Ohio-Con the first weekend in November, if I have a buying budget, and if our inventory crew can make some more room in the warehouse receiving area. Ashley and I have already shipped home approximately 19 pallets (250,000+ comics) from this one buying trip, so the loading dock area in our Denver warehouse is reportedly all jammed up right now, and we need to clear some space before I can score even more great comics us. Life is good!

Happy Collecting!

P.S. Despite our record-setting sales of this past week, Pam's inventory crew still managed to add more than 25,000 exceptional back issue comics, magazines, and trade paperbacks into our online inventory. Check out our New-In-Stock and Premium New-In-Stock for exact listings of what Pam added, or follow any of the popular genre links below to specific titles.
