Beacons
We use "web beacons" (electronic images) to recognize our cookies on your computer when you view or take actions on our websites, when you see or interact with our advertisements posted on a third party web page, or open an email from us. For these purposes, some of our tracking technologies may be tied to personal data.
Cookies, web beacons and similar technologies enable us to collect information about your visits to our websites, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring website (website you visited before coming to our website), date and time of visit, city and country of email address, URLs of pages visited, and other browsing behavior, like products and documents downloaded.
To prevent beacons (pixel tracking) from loading in emails sent to you, turn off automatic image loading in your email client. For example, in the Gmail browser client: 1) Click on the Gear icon and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu 2) In the "General" tab, scroll down to "Images" 3) Click the radio button next to "Ask before displaying external images" 4) Click the "Save Changes" button. For more information on how to turn off automatic image loading, please refer to the help options of your preferred email program.
