30% Off WOODCHUCK Sale Begins Today! Howdy! Chuck and Rich Koslowski (click on image for larger view) After two days of non-stop comics buying here in New Jersey, Will Moulton and I spent yesterday afternoon packing up 8,000 hand-picked comics for shipment back to Colorado. While 8,000 comics is a far smaller total number than what we've purchased at some past conventions, the difference on this trip is that we now have a comprehensive buying list that allows us to be incredibly selective in our buying. Each and every one of the comics that we've picked up on this trip will either fill an existing out-of-stock in our website inventory, or will allow us to lower the price on an issue where we have only a nominal number in stock. While this has all required a great deal of effort, I do have to say that it feels really good to know that we are making such excellent progress in enhancing what is already the largest online inventory of comics in the entire world! While Will and I have been having great fun buying rare comics, everyone at the Mile High Comics world headquarters in Denver has been preparing for this year's Groundhog's Day sale. As many of you are already aware, Captain Woodchuck is an anthropomorphic mascot for our company that I created over 30 years ago. We actually even published a limited edition Captain Woodchuck comic book a few years back, which was a guide for fans who were wanting to join our N.I.C.E. New Comics Subscription Service. In addition, it has been an annual tradition here at Mile High Comics for us to host a Groundhog's Day (which is February 2nd...) sale, and this year is no exception.
