Benefit Comics Sale Ends Monday Howdy! Rich Koslowski Wolverine Sketch A brief newsletter today, as I am rushing this morning to address some personal business. The most important topic for those of you who shop with us online today is the imminent end of our 60% off HELPHEAL codeword This steep discount codeword has allowed you to order any of our back issue comics and magazines from us, while simultaneously having us contribute 10% of the net of your order to GivingFirst.org, a fund set up to help the victims of the Colorado shooting. We have been gratified by the response of so many of you from around the world, who have helped us to contribute to this very worthy effort. For those of you who might still wish to place a HELPHEAL order before it ends on Monday, please note that the 60% off discount does not apply to new comics, books, CGC-graded issues, or the non-comics items listed on our website, but does directly apply to all eight million of our back issues. HELPHEAL will officially end on Monday, at noon, but we will continue accepting late-arriving orders through Tuesday. Eric Basaldua GFT Sketch Also ending at noon on Monday, will be our drawing for your choice of one of two very cool sketches. This drawing was just announced on Wednesday, so the number of entries we have received to this point is minimal. You can enter by simply writing to Byron in our customer service department at back_issue@milehighcomics.com and, asking to be entered (once) in the drawing. You can then earn additional entries, one for each $20 increment of any order you place with us over this weekend. You must, however, actually ask to be entered in the "notes" section of your order. We are expecting fewer than 500 entries in this drawing, so your odds of winning your choice of one of the sketches are actually rather good. I will close today's newsletter with some very brief notes. First, our website cover images are now being restored at a very rapid pace, as are some of our currently off line functionalities, such as our automated Want List program. Second, despite having to be patient through our massive software upgrade, we have been able to continue adding a great many back issues into our New-In-Stock listings. Finally, the reason why I am having to rush so much to get my own business taken care of today is that I will be (once again) running our Jason St. mega-Store by myself tomorrow. I plan to be open for visitors at Jason St. from 10-5 on Saturday, and Noon-5 on Sunday.
