Howdy!
To help all of you have the best chance at receiving some of these great books, I am going to ask our inventory manager, Will Moulton, to manually override our website's automated inventory system this morning, and to enter all the DC Archive titles that we are going to receive next Wednesday by hand. It will take him a while, but by early this afternoon (Friday), we should have all 165 titles available for you to order on
our website.
Presuming that Diamond can actually ship us what they promised in last evening's e-mail, we should be able to expedite shipping for you of all DC ARCHIVE EDITION orders early next Wednesday morning. Given how quickly these sold out two weeks ago (we sold out of over 500 ARCHIVES in just 48 hours!), it is just delightful that we are receiving our second shipment in time for Christmas. We all owe a debt of gratitude to the hardworking folks at DC and Diamond for making this Christmas miracle happen!
While the imminent arrival of our second shipment of
DC ARCHIVES
is great news, I am also very happy to report that we are also receiving huge shipments of
Marvel and
Dark Horse
books next week. Once Will gets finished with listing all of the ARCHIVES that are arriving, I am going to ask him to enter the upcoming inventories for Marvel and Dark Horse books. With any luck, those books will appear in tomorrow's
New-In-Stock
listings. Listing this huge reorder of popular trade paperback and hardback book titles from Marvel and Dark Horse should also trigger thousands of free notification e-mails for those of you who signed up via
our automated "Want List" program.
If you have yet to let us know which books you are seeking, you really should create a personal want list account (which consists mostly of just telling us what password you'd like to use...), and then click on each of the books in our database which you'd like to be told about if they arrive in stock. If you prefer, you can also watch for our
New-In-Stock
listings to be posted to
our website,
at about noon tomorrow. Either way, I think that you are going to be delighted at all of the great Marvel and Dark Horse books that we will be receiving next Wednesday!
While we are receiving huge numbers of books (over 5 tons!) next week, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that we're also entering some fantastic
back issue comics
into our website inventories for you. If you check out our
New-In-Stock and
$50+ New-In-Stock
listings for today, I think you will be amazed at the breadth of great comics that I am finding in the back of our warehouse (from convention purchases that I made last year...), and that Pam is buying via
our online buying program.
Our focus for the past two days has been in grading
Marvel titles
"C" - "F", such as CAPTAIN AMERICA, CONAN, DAREDEVIL, DOCTOR STRANGE, and FANTASTIC FOUR. That's just the tip of the iceberg, however, as Pam has been grading her collection purchases separate from our main inventory team, and has personally entered over 3,000 choice back issues during just the past 48 hours. Pam is always looking to buy more comics, however, so if you have a collection that you would like to sell, give her a call at 303-455-2659, or e-mail her at

For those of you who live in the Denver area, Pam also makes same-day appointments to look at collections at our 56th Ave. warehouse, and offers instant payment. If you need some quick money for Christmas expenses, give Pam a call!
My final item for today is a quick mention that we have Mile High Comics

available in a variety of denominations. We've found that they make excellent Christmas presents!
