What just changed, however, is that I was informed by the producers of my proposed reality TV show that I need to be in New York for the entire middle of January. While I am certain that I will be filming for at least a couple of those days, in between shooting sessions I will be at loose ends. That is time that I now plan to spend traveling about the Northeast, seeking out collections of old comics! To elaborate a little, because it has been so long since I was out buying, I already have four major comics deals (and two conventions...) waiting for me near New York. That being the case, the probability is very high that I will be sending back thousands of cool older comics to Denver during January. While I am certain that this two-week journey will be exhausting, I view this new comics trip quite favorably, as I am never happier then when I can travel about seeking great back issue comics to offer you. While our oldest daughter, Rowan, is off on a quick trip today, she will be returning home on the evening of Christmas. That will mean that we will (once again) have all four of our girls home for the holidays! The photo above is twenty years old, and shows Rowan, Aleta, Tanith, and Elsbeth all dressed up to help us at the 1991 San Diego Comic-Con. They are grown up now, but Nanette and I still treasure our moments that we can be together with them.
