Lou Ferrigno Tickets Almost Sold Out Denver Comic-Con Party News Howdy! The excitement is really building here at Mile High Comics for our two incredible events that we will be hosting next week. The first will be the easiest logistically, as putting together an exclusive party for 75 people to meet actor Lou Ferrigno on Thursday evening not difficult. It will be an especially fun evening, however, as our Thursday night attendees will not only be able to chat with Lou from 8 PM - 9 PM, but afterwards they will also be able to watch exclusive performances from our Cosplay Show, several of which we are staging just for Lou. Lou Ferringo Private Party If you know anyone who would like to meet Lou Ferrigno on Thursday evening, each of our Mile High Comic retail stores has a few tickets to his private party remaining. Cost to attend our Thursday night event is $25 per person, which includes a free autographed photo of Lou. At Lou's request, all proceeds from the evening will go to the Denver Children Children's Advocacy Center, an organization which provides assistance and counseling to young victims of abuse and violence. While Lou's Thursday evening event will be very relaxed, our Mile High Comics world goes completely crazy on Friday, when we host our third annual Opening Night Party for the Denver Comic-Con! Our first DCC party (two years ago) attracted about 2,000 dedicated fans, attendance at our party last year exceeded 3,000, and this year we are planning for 5,000 (!) visitors. If you are planning to attend our show, I encourage you read the flyer below in it's entirety. The seven hours that our Denver Comic-Con party is officially in session will be jam-packed with fun, but we want to be sure that everything flows smoothly for everyone. Please be sure (for example...) and leave all merchandise, as well as backpacks and large bags at home, as we just do not have the staff to monitor people bringing in things from outside. We also want you to know that we only have about 500 parking spaces within easy walking distance of the Mega-Store, so we ask that everyone try to carpool, or to take mass transit. We have rented three full size buses to act as free shuttles from downtown, so if you could park there, you could be delivered right to our front door. Our shuttles will pick up about every ten minutes at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center and at the front of the convention center. I will close by mentioning that you should try to get to our party as early as you possibly can on Friday. Our doors will open at 8 AM, with the first creators setting up their stands in the early afternoon. By 7 PM (which is when our hugely popular Cosplay Drag Show begins), we expect to have a standing room only crowd. Don't miss this incredible free event! Happy Collecting!
