I was on the phone yesterday with comics great, Neal Adams. During the course of our conversation we were able to work out an arrangement by which those of you who cannot attend our upcoming May 30th opening night party for the Denver Comic-Con can still receive Neal Adams autographs. The arrangement is pretty simple: Neal requests $10 per autograph at his signings. We need $2 for handling, and for the Mile High Comics certificate of authenticity that we provide for each item. Your net cost per autographed item is thus $12. You can order as many Neal Adams autographs as you wish right now via this link:

So you know, you can then request in the "notes" section of our online order form to have ANY Neal Adams items autographed that we currently offer in stock on our website. Because so much of Neal's older material is currently our of print, however, we have ordered a very large number of Neal's best trade paperback and hardback book collections from Diamond. Even though none of these items can ship to you until the Monday after Neal's appearance in Denver (June 3rd), I highly encourage you to place your orders immediately, as Neal will have only a limited amount of time to sign autographs while in Denver. At some point, we will probably have to stop accepting autograph requests...

My other news for today is going to be minimal, as we are all still trying to recover from the greatest Free Comic Book Day in the history of Mile High Comics! With a combined 4,000 visitors to our stores, we were busier on Saturday than we have ever been on a single day in our entire 43 years of selling comics. We heard that most comics shops across the country ran out of FCBD comics, so we were not the only ones who had a great FCBD. That having been said, the good news for those of you who shop with us online is that we intentionally set aside a few of the Free Comic Book Day Comics to offer you this week, with most issues at the nominal price of only $2.99 each.
