Howdy!
With Free Comic Book Day (May 4th) now under one week away, I wanted to let you know that legendary comics creators, Jim Shooter and Chris Claremont, have agreed to sign autographs for fans at our Jason St. Mega-Store that day. They will sign autographs from 10 AM - 4 PM, with a brief break around noon for a Q&A session.
All fans attending the signing will be allowed to receive up to three free autographs from each creator. You can bring in those three comics from your own collection. If you wish to receive more than three free autographs, we would ask that you purchase items to be signed from our Jason St. inventory. We do have a huge single-owner collection of over 100 long boxes full of back issues that we will be premiering in Jason St. that day, so we should have plenty of comics for sale created by Chris and Jim. Wouldn't it be cool to have some comics signed by both of them from that wonderful era of 1979-1987, when they worked together at Marvel?
I will close by mentioning that for each $10 that you spend in Jason St. on FCBD, you will also receive a coupon valid for your choice of any one of this year's 52 different Free Comic Book Day special edition comics. This is in addition to the 3 free issues that you will be entitled to simply for visiting Jason St. (or any of our other 3 stores...) on May 4th. Free comics and also free autographs! That's a hard combination to beat...
