Half Price Silver Age Collection -IRON MAN #1, SILVER SURFER #1, & More Howdy! As I was leaving for the bank yesterday, a couple drove up to our 56th Ave. warehouse with a carton of comics that they were seeking to sell. It turns out that this gentleman collected primarily #1 issues from the 1960's. He could not justify the added cost of purchasing higher grades, so he focused entirely on comics in the Fair-Fine range, with most of his #1 issues being in Good and Very Good conditions. What makes this one collection especially noteworthy are the quantities of certain key issues it contains. There are, for example, five copies of IRON MAN (1968) #1, seven copies of SUB-MARINER (1968) #1 , and six copies of the highly-underrated IRON MAN & SUB-MARINER #1. The collection also contained two copies of SILVER SURFER (1968) #1 and a slew of other Silver Age key issues. KEY ISSUES OF SILVER AGE COLLECTION All of the above having been said, I asked Will Moulton to please get all of these Silver Age issues graded for you yesterday afternoon, so that we could offer them to you at half price today via our Friday New-In-Stock listing. Will not only finished that arduous task, but also graded an awesome collection of 100 rare Mirage and Archie TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES issues (including the very scarce Mirage series #62).
