![]() The Combined North American Exhibit was the brainchild of Dorothy Crouch (in blue), who now runs DC Comics International Licensing. Dark Horse, Image, and Diamond are the main players in this set-up, with several smaller publishers also paying fees to be represented. |
![]() Former Mile High staff member Todd Scott (in white) now runs the International Marketing Program for Diamond Distributing. |
![]() Francine Burke (in black) is the dynamo of energy who keeps the DC booth humming. DC (unlike many publishers in Frankfurt) is very friendly to comics fans. Francine also has the distinction of having a braid as long, or perhaps even a little longer, than Chuck. |
![]() Francine's partner in craziness at DC is Phyllis Hume. Between the two of them they manage to keep all the fans feeling welcome, while still writing an amazing number of International licensing contracts. |
![]() Dorothy Crouch started out as an independent agent, with MAD Magazine as one of her primary clients. When Bill Gaines sold MAD to DC, they eventually inveigled her into taking over management of their International Licensing program (among other responsibilities). She's the best! |
