50% Off Mile High Comics Moving Sale Howdy! My newsletter is going to be brief today, as I am focusing all of my efforts this morning on helping to reorganize our online fulfillment staff. Simply put, we have received a wonderful outpouring of support over this past week, with hundreds of book and comics orders being placed through our website from comics fans living all over the world. Making certain that we now fill those orders as quickly and efficiently as possible is our top priority. I sincerely thank everyone who has placed an order with us, as your patronage is providing us with the funding that we will absolutely need for our upcoming move. This sale was prompted by my decision late last week to finally go ahead and list our 56th Ave. headquarters building for sale. While we have greatly enjoyed working out of 56th Ave. for the past 29 years, commercial real estate prices have more than doubled in the Denver area over the past five years. Since we own the 56th Ave. building outright, shifting our headquarters over to our much larger Jason St. Mega-Store only makes sense. Especially in light of the fact that selling the 56th Ave. building will retire almost all of our obligations. As I also mentioned earlier, the most complex element of my plan is that we have to self-fund relocating our offices, over six million comics, and all the shelving that holds them. It is going to take us several months to move, and we are going to have to rent trucks, and also hire a slew of temporary workers. To help us to pay for these expenses I not only initiated the 50% off MOVINGDAY! codeword sale on all of our back issue comics and magazines, but I also took the unprecedented stop of slashing 60% off of the prices of all of our trade paperbacks and graphic novels, and 50% off of all of our comics hardback collections.
