40% Off LABORDAY Comics Sale Ending Howdy! Our annual 40% off LABORDAY sale on most of our ten million back issue comics and magazines has been a huge success! We have received more orders during the past 72 hours than any other 3 day period in recent memory. I am certain that very positive response resulted because I layered the 40% off LABORDAY codeword discount on top of the many thousands of comics prices that we already reduced dramatically last April. As a result, fans have been scooping up many thousands of scarce comics from our website at astoundingly low prices, as well as magazines, books, and portfolios. We're all feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment, but being this busy is also quite a bit of fun! While our LABORDAY codeword sale has been a great success, it is going to take us a few extra days to get all of these orders pulled, and shipped. If you placed an order with us during the past 48 hours, please allow us a couple of extra days to send your order out. That having been said, we will still be still be accepting LABORDAY orders with the 40% off discount applied through noon, on Thursday. Chuck in his Comic Vault Sorting Undergrounds In other news, I worked for twelve hours yesterday in my personal comics vault, alphabetizing 1,000+rare Underground Comix. I did this so that I could determine which issues were duplicates that I could add into our huge live comics auction at our Jason St. Mega-Store, scheduled for next Saturday morning. If you live anywhere near Denver, you definitely want to attend this auction, as we have already had a dozen original art pages (SPIDER-MAN, HULK, LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES, etc.) donated for the WHITE ROSE SCHOLARSHIP FUND portion of the auction, as well as an entire collection of rare LORD OF THE RINGS figures, mint in box. So you know, I don't always agree with Dan's listed prices, as I think they are far too conservative given the true scarcity of many obscure titles. That difference in opinion in no way takes away from the fact that this newest edition of the Undergrounds Price Guide is absolutely a great reference work.
