Comics Party Photos - Neal Adams, More! Howdy! Chuck and Neal Adams A very short newsletter today, as I want to leave room so that you can see several pictures from last evening's Jason St. extravaganza. As expected, we had somewhere above 1,000 attendees at our opening night party for this weekend's Denver Comic-Con. Neal Adams was our lead comics guest, and he was incredibly popular. The live demonstrations by the New Era Pro Wrestling group were also extremely well-received, especially during that one insane moment when a folding table filled with inexpensive comics was crushed by a flying body. With no significant logistical difficulties of any kind, last evening was one of those magical events that all of us will remember with great fondness for the rest of our lives. Since this newsletter has a worldwide readership of over 100,000 comics fans, I realize that it is highly probably that you were unable to attend last night's party. I do want you to know, however, that all of our planning for the event was focused on creating long term value for you. What I mean by that is that we went out of our way to create displays and inventories in the Jason St. store that will absolutely delight you if you can ever make it to the Denver area. Simply put, a deficiency that has existed for the past four years (ever since our Thornton Mega-Store was destroyed by a flood...) is that we have not had a flagship comics shop in Denver that reflected the sheer magnitude of our online offerings. Thanks to the herculean effort that we expended in preparing for this one party, however, we now have a gigantic Denver-area comics store that will absolutely stagger you when visit us. Just look at today's photos, and I am certain that you will see exactly what I mean...
