Free Marvel Comics Prints All Back Issues 50% Off Howdy! Today's newsletter is being sent a little later than usual, as all of us are still recovering from the excitement and energy drain of hosting a party on Thursday night for over 1,000 fans at our Jason St. Mega-Store. Our event was the opening night party for the Denver Comic-Con, and thanks to the incredible hard work of our Mile High Comics staff and 20+ enthusiastic volunteers, all went as smoothly and pleasantly as could possibly be expected. Based upon all of the very enthusiastic positive comments that I heard on Thursday evening, I believe that a great deal of fun was had by all our guests. Pre-Party at Jason Street Mega Store The primary factor that made our party so exciting was that we were blessed to have over 20 comics creators join us, all of whom signed autographs for our attendees. Silver Age greats Neal Adams, Gerry Conway, and Joe Rubinstein were the most familiar names in attendance, but our small press area was actually the most popular part of the store. Many, many thanks go out to my daughter, Rowan, her fiance Justin Erhart, and the great folks at the Denver Comic-Con for helping us to coordinate having so many talented visitors attend our party. While we had only a limited period of time that we could offer you the opportunity to pre-order items to be autographed by Joe Rubinstein and Gerry Conway, we did ask them to please sign for us some individual items that we could then offer to ship to you. Because we were imposing on their time during the party, however, we limited our requests to only 30 copies of each.
