50% Off Marvel Essentials Trade Paperbacks Howdy! It's Monday, so of course the first thing that I hear when arriving at the Mile High Comics offices is that our adventures with our new designated phone/Internet provider, CenturyLink, continue unabated. Not only can they still not provide us with the additional phone lines and Internet that we requested for Jason St. weeks ago, but now they are repeatedly putting us on slowdown mode with our low speed Internet. Lynne is calling their techs (again) to resolve this annoying issue. While dealing with our new phone company has proven to be more than just a minor annoyance, the rest of our integration of our online operations into Jason St. has been progressing very smoothly. We continue to make progress by the day in terms of gaining access to the few remaining portions of our online inventory that needed to be unpacked. This will allow us to then immediately begin adding our 200,000+ comic books that have been in storage, and are currently awaiting grading. This truly delights me, as reaching this point has been a goal of mine for over a year. What our progress means for you is that we will now be able to provide you with much better service, and a far broader selection of comics, magazines, and books than at any time in our 46-year history. Not only are we now rapidly catching up with our shipping of past orders, but Will and Pam are now able to add highly desirable material from newly-arrived collections with ease. Check out our New-In-Stock and Premium New-In-Stock links from last week, and you will see exactly what I mean. It has been quite a while since we added so many great comics into our online inventory in such a short period of time. On an even more positive note, those 200,000+ items that I mentioned earlier as awaiting grading include thousands of issues that currently show as being out-of-stock on our website. One of my greatest frustrations of the past several years has been the knowledge that so many of the great comics from my arduous East Coast buying trips of 2010-2013 were never unpacked. Reorganizing our company efforts to focus more energy on this one task has been a top priority for me, so I am particularly happy to see this comics inventory logjam finally breaking. I think that you are going to love this progress!
