Last Chance For 2014 Free Comic Book Day Editions Howdy! Free Comic Book Day is this Saturday, so we are all busier than ever here at Mile High Comics. Our Jason St. Mega-Store will be opening at 10 PM on Friday evening, so that we can begin passing out the first of the 2014 FCBD editions promptly at midnight. We had over 120 fans attend our midnight pre-release party last year, and expect far more to be there this year. Henry Winkler (Fonzie from Happy Days) will also be signing autographs for fans at Jason St., all day on Saturday, and beginning at 10 PM on Friday night. Fun! Skyward & Midnight Tiger If your local comics shop is not stocking FCBD editions, or if you are concerned that you may not be able to obtain certain scarcer ones, we still have a full selection of all 59 of the titles available. Any $20 order with us allows you to request any three of this year's FCBD editions for free, and each additional $10 earns you the right to ask for one more. Just list your requests in the "notes" section of our online order form, and we will include them in your package at no charge. Supplies are extremely limited on some issues. As an aside, you can feel free to use our ongoing 50% off SWEETHEART codeword sale in conjunction with our FCBD offer. The half price codeword does not apply to books, new comics, our CGC- graded issues, and a few variants, but it does apply to all eight million of our back issue comics and magazines that we list on our website. I am flying back this morning after purchasing a private collection yesterday of 24,000 NM/M back issues in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I already have another buying trip planned for Monday of next week to Michigan, and yet another for the week after, to New Jersey and the upper East Coast. With the comics business booming at the moment, I am willing to travel just about anywhere to purchase large private collections.
