3,000 Marvel and DC Comics
Silver Age and Bronze Age Prices Cut

Howdy!

I have very good news for you today. Effective immediately, we have begun an exceptionally large expansion of our Silver Age and Bronze Age comics inventory! Those scarce pre-1984 Marvel, DC, Gold Key, Dell, Archie, and Harvey comics are ones that I purchased in New Jersey the weekend before last, and immediately shipped home for grading. Just yesterday, over 1,000 of those older comics (along with a big batch of rare modern variant issues...) were entered into our website inventory for you. Another 1,000 of those cool older comics will be made available to you today at 11 AM today, and yet another 1,000 Silver Age and Bronze Age comics will be featured in our New-In-stock listings at 11 AM, tomorrow.

If you who have been shopping with us for a while, you already know that our entering 1,000 older comics into our online inventory in a single day is not that unusual of a circumstance. I have, for example, made frequent comics buying trips in the past, and Pam has had more than a few great back issue comics and book collections sent to her by collectors. In each of those instances, we have added quite a few great older comics into our website inventory, often in a relatively short period of time.

What makes today different, however, is that I will be sending a huge truck shipment this afternoon from New York to Denver that contains over 110,000 comics. This huge back issue comics shipment includes one special pallet containing at least 15,000 (!) pre-1984 issues. In addition to this one incredible pallet of older comics, I already have another exciting deal set up to buy 20,000+ Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze Age comics from a single seller in just 14 days. Presuming that second deal comes through as planned, we will be adding at least 1,000 older comics into our website inventory for you each day for at least the next 35 days!

All of the above having been said, I wanted to alert you to the fact that we recently ran a special pricing program through our entire online comics and magazine inventory to make an adjustment to all of our older comics prices. Higher grade older comics are harder for us to obtain right now, so those prices have risen. Many of our Silver Age and Bronze Age comics that are in lower and middle grades, however, have dropped significantly in cost on our website. I leave it to you to make your own judgement, but I think that I am correct in saying that you can pick up more pre-1984 comics on our website right now at under $5 each, than at any time in recent memory. Especially when you take our current 40% off WOODCHUCK codeword into account...

Amazing Spider-Man
#700 2nd Print
Speaking of the 40% off WOODCHUCK codeword, it remains totally in effect for you this week. Simply put, with all the incredible good fortune that I have been experiencing on this East Coast buying trip, I see no reason to stop offering you great deals on all of our older comics listed for sale on our website. Please do bear in mind, however, that new comics and books, and non-comics items offered on our website, are not a part of the 40% off sale. All eight million of our back issues ARE a part of the sale, however, including almost every issue that we just listed for you in New-In-Stock and Premium New-In-Stock. Enjoy!

I will close today's newsletter with a quick mention that we do still have copies remaining of the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #700 Second Printing Variant. We now have copies available for immediate shipment to you at $8.99 each, or you can obtain one from us for free simply by placing any minimum $50 order with us, and then asking for your free AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #700 Second Printing Variant in the "notes" section of our online order form.

Happy Collecting!
