And The Cause is just a stone's throw away from covertly gaining control of Chicago's underworld and political apparatus. The Cause seems unstoppable. Until the South Side's self-appointed guardian gets involved. Until the anonymous anti-hero decides that enough is enough. Until the detective/assassin known only as The Roach resolves to exterminate The Cause.
