The company name of 'Quality' was considered appropriate for the Golden Age publishing house, as publisher Everett M. Arnold refused to hire anybody but the best and most polished artists in the business. Many of comicdom's most prestigious stars came to prominence drawing books for Quality, but some equally-talented individuals among this companies' illustrators are little-remembered today.
