During the mid 1940's, Woody went through his first revision! He became more streamlined and a bit less goofy in the short 'Barber of Seville.' Based on model sheets from legendary animator Fred Moore, 'classic' Woody Woodpecker stands on a specially designed tree trunk base. Woody's 1950's 'modern' design premiered in the classic short 'Puny Express.' It would remain the design for over 40 years and also became the world's most recognized version of the character. Finally, 'retro' Woody appeared in the 1940's cartoon 'Knock, Knock!' This buck-toothed wacky version of Woody would go through many revisions over the years, but this is the ultimate animator's version! All versions are designed by Tracy Mark Lee and sculpted by Ruben Procopio. Measuring 6' tall, they are fully painted, ready to display, and come individually numbered in decorated boxes.
