FAUST NOVEL 01 (C: 0-1-2)
by Various Faust was first published in Japan as a fiction magazine showcasing innovative short works by young authors. Mixing wickedly cool, genre-bending short stories with illustrations by established manga artists, Faust quickly became a must-read for Japanese teens, a McSweeney's for the anime and manga set. Now Faust is coming to American manga readers. This unique anthology will feature a mix of manga-style art and short prose fiction. It will include new artwork by Yuri Kouga (Loveless), CLAMP (xxxHOLiC), Takeshi Obata (Death Note), and Ueda Hajime (FLCL). Faust will also introduce Japanese fiction writers who have visionary storytelling and fast-paced accessible writing that have made American readers fall in love with manga.
