Local News - Auction this Saturday!
Howdy!
My name is Chuck Rozanski, and I am sorry to report that I am in big trouble with my beloved wife, Nanette, right now,
because our two awesome collections buyers here at our
Mile High Comics Jason St. Mega-Store
in Denver have been doing their jobs far too well. I tried to keep track of how much that Will and Pam have spent since
January on collections of old
comic books,
graphic novels,
Funko Pop! toys, action figures, and fantasy art statues, but I lost count after the first $500,000.00. Yow! Is it any wonder
that my wife, Nanette (who pays our company bills...), is a bit peeved right now? Simply put, we're buying collections right
now at a faster pace than at any previous time in our 54-year history.

Pam, Will, and Chuck with a few of the comics from purchased collections
Anyhoo, to make some much-needed peace at home I agreed to set aside my usual hoarding proclivities, and to sell off some of
the duplicates from our buying program in a series of
no-minimum-bid auctions.
The first two of these auctions will be held on Saturday, December 7th, and Saturday, December 21st. Both auctions will
begin at 11:30 AM. They will take place in our
Mile High Comics Jason St. Mega-Store,
which is located at 4600 Jason St. - just two blocks south, and then two blocks east, of the I-70/Pecos St. exit. Peruse
the photos
below to see the auction lots for December 7th.

December 7th Auction
Just so you know, we are housed in an immense old concrete warehouse located in a rather scruffy industrial district near the
downtown Denver rail yards. Once you enter our incredible “cathedral of comics,” however, you will instantly forget all about
what's outside. In point of fact, it is not at all unusual for our first-time visitors to our beautiful store to entirely lose
track of time, and to spend far more joyous hours exploring our 45,000 square feet of pop culture treasures than they ever
planned. Truly, our store is the largest of its kind to be found anywhere in the world, and it is located for you (and your
family) right here in Denver. Woo!

I'll close with a couple of important facts: first, yes, we are still buying collections. If you need holiday cash, or would
like to trade in some of your collection for
a gift certificate,
Will and Pam are here to help you Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9-5 and Tuesday and Thursday 9-2. We do also keep buying collections
in January/February/March, but that's our slow season, so we of necessity need to pay less when our entire world is frozen
solid. For your best experience, December is your ideal month to sell.

Mile High Comics gift certificates
Second, we are typically open seven days a week, Monday-Friday 9-6, Saturdays 10-6, Sunday 11-5. We will, however, be closed on
Christmas Day. December 26th -January 5th is our busiest time of year, as that is when we redeem the hundreds of awesome
Mile High Comics gift certificates
that we issue every Christmas. A
Mile High Comics gift certificate
is always a great gift!

Kids having fun inside our Mega-Store
Lastly, but certainly not least, I want to share with you that our
Mile High Comics Mega-Store
was not actually created by me for grown-ups, but rather for all the children of Denver, and our entire state of Colorado.
In reality, there are over a dozen very nice comic book specialty stores located in Denver and our surrounding communities,
but none are anywhere close to being as welcoming to children and teens as
Mile High Comics.
We have intentionally set up our awesome store so that it enchants even the youngest of our visitors, and we do our very best
to make our youth visitors feel like Jason St. is “their” personal comic book Mecca. Do yourself, and your entire family, a
favor today and drive by Jason St. and peek in our doorway. I absolutely promise you that you will be blown away by our
incredibly fun store!
Happy collecting!

President - Mile High Comics, Inc.
