Howdy!

It took us a little while longer than expected, but we now have our +/- 400 auction items for this Saturday's live event pictured for you. That having been said, I believe that Will Moulton did quite a good job of picking items this month. Saturday's auction in the Mega-Store (which begins at 11:30 AM) should be a blast!

If you cannot attend our auction in person, and would like to place a pre-bid on any item, please call (9-4 weekdays) 303-455-2659 or write to Pam Brandle: pamb@milehighcomics.com. Pam is our auction clerk, and acts as a proxy bidder for anyone who cannot attend our live auction. This might sound a bit cumbersome, but it actually works rather smoothly, as Pam ruthlessly slides in her proxy bids, and steals away choice items for her clients. About 10% of our last auction lots were won by non-attendees, so if you contact Pam with:
1) The auction lot #
2) Comic(s) or item(s) you are interested in the lot
3) Your highest bid.
Your odds of winning are actually rather good. 'Nuff said.

Auction Lot #24

In other news, the commencement of our annual 70% off HALLOWEEN! codeword sale on all ten million+ of our back issue comics and magazines blew up our website (as expected), and is already causing a small delay in our shipping of orders. If you place your 70% off order with us quickly during this week, however, your shipping delay should only be a day, or two, at most. If you wait until the 31st (Halloween), you might have to wait a week. Either way, at 70% off, you will be saving big $$$.

Chuck in his Gallery

That's it for today. I am about to give a follow-up tour of my Pueblo Treasures Museum to a dear friend who is also a professional archeologist. I've added about 1,000 new (old) pieces to the museum since his last visit, including quite a few rarities that are over 500 years old, so we should have a lot to talk about.

Happy collecting!
