Auction This Saturday Morning
Howdy!
A brief newsletter today, as I am frenetically working on opening a huge pile of newly-arrived boxes filled with pottery
for inclusion in the displays of my Pueblo Treasures Museum. Given that I have been on the road to California for the past
two weeks, I was planning to skip this month's tour of the museum (which typically occurs right after our monthly auction ends...),
but I found out just this morning that a group of ten is hoping to be given a museum tour tomorrow. Sigh...

To be clear, I generally do love providing tours of my immense pottery collection, but having one immediately after the
conclusion of the largest
no-minimum-bid comics auction
in our 50+ years as a company is a bit much for me to endure. Sad to say, I am still experiencing some post-concussive symptoms
resulting from my truck wreck of April of last year, so just conducting
the auction
will already be a strain on me. I am getting a little bit better with each passing month, however, so I should still be OK to
provide the tour. I'll just have to rest at my farm for a while on Sunday.

Anyhoo, we are finally starting to get some pre-bids for
our auction
that are in the 5% range, so I am feeling a lot better about the potential results of tomorrow morning's event. I doubt if
any of the hundreds of listed items are going to go for much above 20% of list, but 10%-15% now seems achievable. We can live
with that, as the primary purpose of this $100,000 auction was as a "Thank you!" to everyone who has supported us over the years.
I think that everyone who attends the auction tomorrow is going to be very, very happy.

As regards your still placing last-minute pre-bids, Pam will still be accepting e-mail bids at pamb@milehighcomics.com
through 9 AM (Mountain Time Zone) tomorrow morning. If you miss that deadline, call her at 10 AM via the main
Mega-Store
number 303-455-2659, and she will still be available to bid for you up to whatever maximum you set. There is a strict cutoff for
pre-bids at 10:30, however, as Pam told me that she needs an hour to get everything compiled before our live bidding begins
at 11:30. This auction will be incredibly fun!

Auction Lot #24
That's it for today. In closing, I will just remind you very quickly that our 70% off HAPPY70! codeword sale will end in
just twelve days, right after I celebrate my March 11th 70th birthday. If you want to save substantially while scoring even
our best
back issues,
get your 70% off order in to us ASAP. 'Nuff said.
Happy collecting!
