Video Tour of Chuck's Pottery Gallery Howdy! Two of the most frequently asked questions from our thousands of weekly visitors at our Mile High Comics Jason St. Mega-Store are "What's up there on your second floor," and "Can I go up there?" The answers are: Chuck's Pueblo Treasures Museum occupies most of our 2nd floor," and "Guided tours of Chuck's pottery are available by appointment, only." One-hour video tour of Chuck's Pueblo Treasures Museum (Click image to watch) Not surprisngly, quite a few of our out-of-state clients have expressed frustration at this lack of public access to my Pueblo Treasures Museum, but that's a reality that we all just have to live with. There is simply no way that I have the time and/or the energy to provide daily tours, and there are far too many priceless artifacts on display for me to ever allow unsupervised browsing. Sigh... Anyhoo, to answer many of those questions (and to also provide free a visual tour) I filmed a one-hour video yesterday that begins on the main floor of Mile High Comics, and then takes you upstairs for a row-by-row description of what is contained in my museum. If you have the time to watch even a small part of my tour, I think that you will enjoy it very much. The comments that I have been receiving have been quite positive. Moving on to today's business, I am packing my suitcases this afternoon for a seven-day trip to California. My journey will begin after I arrive this evening in Santa Fe, where I am supposed to have dinner with a dear friend from Santa Clara Pueblo. I will then get up tomorrow morning in order to visit some folks in their family home in order to contemplate purchasing a huge estate collection of old Pueblo pottery accumulated by their father. I am rather dubious that this transaction will take place, as the photos that I received showed mostly pottery in genres that are not my favorites. There is, however, no harm in looking. Chuck in th LA Toy Market (December 2024) After Santa Fe, I will stop in Albuquerque for a quick lunch with another friend, and then haul butters for Flagstaff. If I get there early enough, I am going to try to continue on to scenic (not) Barstow. If all goes as planned, on Wednesday morning I am going to shop at the LA Toy Market, and also try to locate a new ball gown in the LA Fashion District. My next stop will then be San Francisco, where I will be attending the gala 60th Anniversary Ball of the Imperial Court of San Francisco. That ball will be followed by their actual Coronation of their new monarchs on Saturday evening. On Sunday morning, I will attend the annual processional march to our International Imperial Court System's founder's grave, in Woodlawn Cemetery. Whew! Once I escape San Francisco on Sunday afternoon, I will burn-drive back to my daughter, Aleta's, house in LA. We will then spend that evening planning logistics for my 70th birthday party, which will be held in our Jason St. Mega-Store on Saturday, March 8th, from 4-6 in the afternoon. I really hope that you can attend my once-in-a-lifetime event, as there will (at the very least...) be free cake, pizza, and BIG in-store discounts during the two hours of the party. After I leave Aleta's house I will drive to Phoenix to pick up some pottery that I won in an online auction, and then head for the Mimbres Valley (near Las Cruces).
