On a trip to the big city, Gumby loses his nose when he chases some purse snatchers all over town. He looks everywhere, but can not find it. Night falls and he will try again in the morning. Without his nose, no one will take him seriously. He tries to substitute an ice cream cone, a jelly bean, and a carrot, but he is taken even less seriously with these experiments. That night, he is plagued with nightmares of his nose, alone and adrift in the dark shadows and cold streets of the great big city. Will Gumby ever find his nose?
