The Journal of Contemporary Illustration returns with a new issue, this time featuring artist Mitch O'Connell, an illustrator whose work has graced the covers and interior pages of scores of comic books and magazines. An extensive article features a retrospective of his entire career, spanning over 30 pages of beautiful illustrations, all of which are taken directly from the original artwork. Also in this issue is a feature on the spectacular work of comic book artist Steve Rude, well known to most comic fans for his character Nexus. This feature is a preview of the forthcoming book of Rude's work, and will feature many previously unpublished images.
