GOD'S WARRIORS
This volume starts by telling the story of the momentous campaign in 1187 that lead to the Muslim capture of Jerusalem after the disastrous Crusader defeat at Hattin, where Saladin's troops destroyed the Christian army. The authors then go on to take a closer look at some of the most significant and intriguing types of warrior on both sides of the conflict - the Knight Templar, and the Saracen Faris - and examine in detail their motivation, training, and combat experiences.
