The lead story, 'Mammalogy', begins during the time of the dinosaurs, then catapults forward to the present day where we learn about the ancient war between reptiles and mammals. The next bizarre western tale (almost wordless) is called 'The Gunslinger,' followed by several strange, shorter pieces. The entire comic is drawn in an uncluttered yet highly-detailed style, and each panel is charged with quiet, intense drama.
