Ghost Rider
The first Ghost Rider was a western hero who appeared in 1967. In 1973 Marvel re-named him Night Rider so they could use Ghost Rider for their new demonic motorcycle-riding hero. Johnny Blaze made a deal with the demon Mephisto to save a life and became bonded to Zarathos, the flaming Spirit of Vengeance. But, as this Ghost Rider, Johnny became a force against evildoers. Ghost Rider teamed up several times with many of Marvel's greatest stars: Wolverine, Spider-Man, Captain America, Punisher and others. Ghost Rider was also an important part of the Midnight Sons storyline. In 1990 Marvel started another Ghost Rider title with Dan Ketch as a new victim of the Spirit of Vengeance.Comics and Comic Book Series
