As you know, DC held our RRP Meeting for retailers last weekend in Dallas. As in past years, we asked the attending retailers to refrain from discussing/disseminating the information until the close of the meeting.

The primary goal of the handouts at the meeting was to assist retailers in planning for their future purchases, and to get them to order books with confidence that much of the work was already completed. No, we've never prohibited retailers from showing this material to their customers in their stores. Unfortunately, we didn't anticipate that anyone would scan all the meeting handouts and post them on a website.

We see a significant difference between a few retailers showing this material to a few customers and a few retailers showing it on the internet to thousands and thousands of consumers. It's certainly our mistake in not setting down clear guidelines at the meeting on how this material could be used, and we apologize for any inconvenience and expense that results from our decision.

We'd like you to remove all the pages of JUST IMAGINE... STAN LEE WITH JIM LEE CREATING WONDER WOMAN from your site. On the other titles, we would be comfortable with your continuing to show 2 or 3 pages from each project.

Based on our conversation, I appreciate your willingness to remove the other pages from your site, and I look forward to continuing our 27+ year running dialogue on how to sell more comics.
