Next Weekened 3 Big Events at Mile High Comics Mega Store Hi, This is William with Mile High Comics, I just wanted to let everyone know that next weekend (11/23-11/24) we have 3 big events lined up at our Jason Street Mega Store. Poker Flyer First we will be hosting our monthly Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament. The event starts at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 23rd at our Jason Street Mega Store. If you register in advance, playing in our tournament essentially costs you nothing, as your $25 donation is immediately rewarded with a $25 gift certificate that you can utilize to purchase anything you might wish to own in our gigantic store. Please note, however, that we only provide these gift certificates to players who register in advance. You can certainly still register on the morning of the game, but only if we have seats still available. Auction Flyer The Second event starts at 11:30 AM on Saturday November 23rd and we will be hosting our huge no-minimum bid comics and toys auction, arrive early and take a look at all the incredible items! This auction has 40 core lots filled with Silver Age comics, Variant comics, Funko Pop Figures, and much, much more. We will also have at least 200 last-minute throw-in items. This is great fun for the kids, bring them down they will have a blast! Family-Friendly All-Ages Drag Show Then on Sunday November 24th we will be hosting our ninth All-Ages Family Friendly Drag Show. Please come on down and show your support for Denver’s youth performers by attending Miss Jessica’s family-friendly All-Ages Drag Show at Mile High Comics. We have staged it in the beautiful performance area in our gigantic store at 4600 Jason St. for our Community’s youth, and our support at our last joyful event was a remarkable 300+! Bring your entire family for a truly fun evening that is also a benefit the White Rose Scholarship Foundation. All performances are family-friendly and are appropriate for all ages. Seating begins at 5 PM Sunday and the show starts at 6 PM. Conveniently located in the heart of Denver just two blocks south of the I-70/Pecos St. exit. Free snacks donated by the awesome owners of Mile High Hamburger Mary’s! Admission for our wonderful evening of fun is only a suggested donation of $5. Hope to see you next weekend!
