HALLOWEEN Codeword Ends Friday! Howdy! Chuck and Nanette (click on image for larger view) There's not too much news today, as things have been fairly quiet around here. The weather has moderated into to 60's, with sunshine. That has melted most of the snow from last week's blizzard, and the world is even beginning to dry out a bit. That has made my commute into Denver very easy, which has allowed me to spend even more time than usual this week sorting back issue comics. I was able to peruse 40 long boxes (approximately 12,000 comics) yesterday, several of which contained numerous Bronze Age, Silver Age, and even a few Golden Age comics. Pam's inventory team has those comics for grading today, so our New-In-Stock and $50+ New-In-Stock listings should be excellent for the rest of this week. All of the comics that I sorted over the weekend are now already entered into our online inventory, including a large number of SPIDER-MAN, THOR, and X-MEN issues from a variety of titles. We'll be starting yet another huge Marvel alphabet this morning, so I'm guessing that we'll have another 10,000 choice Marvel comics for me to compare to our inventory records over the weekend. All facts considered, life is pretty darn good right now! About the only other bit of real news for today is that our annual HALLOWEEN codeword will be ending on Friday, at noon. That leaves you less than 48 hours in which to place an order with us utilizing the HALLOWEEN codeword (please keep in mind the codeword does not apply to new comics, Dallas Stephens comics, trade paperbacks, hard covers, graphic novels, statues, or supplies). Since the 20% discount provided by the codeword is in addition to the 70%-80% off discounts already listed on our website, this is your last chance to buy comics from us at discounts ranging from 76%-84% off. Our typically robust winter season is starting to draw near, so take advantage of this HALLOWEEN sale while you still can.
