X-MEN (1963) (#1-113, UNCANNY X-MEN #114-544) (MARVEL) #159 - Plot Synopsis

X-Men (1963) #159
"Night Screams!" is written by Chris Claremont with art by Bill Sienkiewicz and Bob Wiacek. Guest-starring Dracula. Our story begins with several of the X-Men popping very suddenly into the Manhattan apartment of their friend Misty Knight only to find the beautiful and bionic private detective isn't in. Instead, famous runway model Harmony Young who has been sharing Misty's apartment has the pleasure of meeting the mighty mutants. After pleasantries are exchanged, Kitty Pryde and Storm leave the rest of the group to meet Kitty's parents. After dropping the teen mutant off, Storm makes her way back but tragically she doesn't make it home.

Found in alleyway, nearly drained of blood, Storm has little memory of what happened to her. After recovering, Ororo leaves the hospital and takes her room at Misty's apartment. There that night, she invites her new Master, Dracula, Lord of the Unliving into her room. Later, Storm's increasing sensitivity to sunlight and mysterious neck wounds lead the X-Men to the only conclusion they can reach. With Storm's immortal soul on the line and Dracula bent on making the weather witch his newest bride, the X-Men are in for the fight of their lives. In the end, it's not mutant power that wins the day, but the faith of a young girl.
