FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) (#1-416) (MARVEL) #333 - Plot Synopsis

Description

Fantastic Four #333
This ish the startling conclusion of the Dreamquest saga! Cover and interior art by Rick Buckler and Joe Sinnott. "The Dream is Dead part two" is written by John Harkness. The Avengers and Dr. Strange show up at the Baxter building demanding to know what has happened to their former comrades, the FF, to make them so callous and uncaring about the people they once loved to protect. Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Thing and Ms. Marvel greet their inquisitiveness with more anger. When Sue Richards shoves them all out of their home, Hercules charges back in to do battle with Ben Grimm. Mr. Fantastic, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Captain America and Thor all join the fight.

But almost before it can begin, the clash of the super-teams is over as the erstwhile FF are whisked away to western Canada and a cave where the Frightful Four is engaged in titanic clash with themselves? Another Fantastic Four exists in a cavern once controlled by Aron, the rogue Watcher, who now must watch on helpless while the FF he created and corrupted takes on the originals with the Wizard, Klaw, Hydro-Man, Dragon Man and Titania caught in the middle. This mess can only be sorted out one way and it'll take the power of a Watcher to do it!
