Guest-starring Thor. "Acts of Vengeance" continues with "Remote Control" (written by Mark Gruenwald and drawn by Ron Lim and Danny Bulanadi). Captain America has just defeated his World War II ally the Sub-Mariner who had been under the thrall of Iron Man's old foe, the Controller. But even as he formulates a strategy on what to do next, the Star-Spangled Avenger is keenly aware of the fact that the Controller now has a good portion of Namor's much-vaunted strength.
The Controller's next target is the God of Thunder, Thor, who is battling Juggernaut in the middle of downtown Manhattan. But the Red Skull has other plans for the Controller's abilities and sends Crossbones and the Voice of Doom to corral him. In route back to the Skull's lair however, the Controller is attacked by Cap who has tracked the radio signal used to control Namor. But how can one man stand up to a goliath who the strength of so many? Meanwhile, the Red Skull tests the resolve of the mysterious aidede camp who has assembled himself, Kingpin, the Wizard, Magneto, the Mandarin and Dr. Doom together in one malevolent cause.
