BATMAN (1940) (#0-713) (DC) #179 - Plot Synopsis
Batman (1940) #179
Written and drawn by Bob Kane. In our first story, Batman steps in to impersonate an over-zealous radio show host who dares to expose a man who believes he's committed the perfect crime, making himself a "Clay Pigeon for a Killer!" Not only does the Dark Knight Detective have to escape death but he also has to expose the madman behind a triple homicide.
Then, the Riddler returns and tries to break himself of his overwhelming urge to leave clues for the Batman to follow. Through self-hypnosis, the Riddler believes he's able to resist the urge to leave riddle-clues tipping off his crimes and for a time, it appears he may have succeeded! Can Batman and Robin solve "The Riddle-Less Robberies of the Riddler!"?
