"Genius of the Getaway Gimmicks." Art by Bob Kane. He may not have been as infamous as the Joker or as colorful as the Riddler or as quirky as the Penguin, but the Getaway Genius posed just as much of a threat to the crime-busting reputation of Batman. Thinking that the main reason all of Batman's other foes get caught is their unshakable desire to try to bump off the dynamic duo, the Getaway Genius instructs his gang to concentrate only on their escape and not to attack Batman and Robin.
The scheme works as, time after time, Batman and Robin are outwitted by the single-minded bandit and his gang. But when the crime-fighting duo fall victim to their own costumes of all things, that's exactly when they turn the tables on the foul fiend's crew. Also, Batman and Robin must solve "The Puzzle of the Perilous Prizes" in which an innocent old woman is at the center of a murderous racket. The action's all triggered by a seemingly harmless mail-in contest.
