ZENITH: PHASE 2 (GRANT MORRISON) (1994) #1 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Zenith: Phase 2 #1
Premiere issue. Fans of Grant Morrison's writing will enjoy this early work exploring a world in which America has no super-heroes and England's premiere meta-human is a preening rock star named Zenith. Boasting a pedigree of superhuman reflexes and strength, Zenith could be the planet's salvation, but he inherited none of his parents' sense of responsibility. Nonetheless, the CIA has drafted him to help solve a mystery.

Zenith must attempt to get to the bottom of the plans of a pair of world-class bad guys: one with an overabundance of smarts and the other with way too much money. To test out Zenith's strengths, these villains send the robot Warhead to his apartment to rough him up a bit. The automaton comes back in pieces. And meanwhile, the other three remaining super-humans on the planet have banded together for a mysterious purpose of their own. Art by Steve Yeowell.
