X-MEN (1991) (#1-275) (MARVEL) #128 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: X-Men (1991) #128
"New Worlds" is written by Grant Morrison with art by Igor Kordey. The doors of the X-Corporation are now open to oppressed mutants the world over. Wherever humans are persecuting those who, by birth, are different, the X-Men will be there to protect and defend. In Paris, the young mutants Monet, Siryn, Rictor, Madrox, Cannonball and Darkstar are called to investigate a "gene hazard" coming in from London via the Chunnel. Their job: get to whatever is aboard the train before the mob gets to it first.

Meanwhile, Professor X and Jean Grey continue to deal with the aftermath of Cassandra revealing Xavier's mutant nature to the world. They also try to come to grips with Jean's seemingly re-awakened Phoenix power. But in the streets of Paris, the police chase a man who is about to take Xavier up on his offer of mutant asylum; the acrobatic super-criminal known as Fantomex. With assault helicopters on his trail, he comes to Prof. X and Jean with a message: the young mutants they sent into the Chunnel are about to meet the deadly Mutant XII and they won't survive.
