X-FORCE (1991) (#1-129) (MARVEL) #116 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: X-Force #116
'Hey Kids! Look, No Code!" One of the first comics in Marvel's mature line published outside of the Comics Code Authority. Featuring a whole-new direction from cult favorites Pete (Strange Days) Milligan and Mike (Madman) Allred. What if mutants didn't skulk around in secret? What if they were instead celebrities who did interviews, got product endorsements and earned big money on their fame? That's the premise behind the new X-Force who parlay their international crime fighting into media events all directed by Coach (otherwise known as "the Arm").

These mutants play in a high-stakes world of sex and power where death can be just around the corner. But can their worldwide audience, which follows their exploits through reports from fawning MTV-trained journalists, realize how little regard they have for normal humans? Not likely. But when a terrorist group kidnaps America's favorite boy-band, it's not just another opportunity to grab publicity, it's also a gut-wrenching return to harsh reality. Don't miss the ending!
