WHERE MONSTERS DWELL (1970) (#1-38) #28 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Where Monsters Dwell #28
Four frantic tales of horror and amazement from the early days of Marvel. First, a hapless scientist working on a means of solving world hunger by making food larger, experiments on a lizard, a Droomedia Rex. The tiny creature promptly begins to grow at an incredible and uncontrollable rate. Step aside Godzilla! "I Saw Droom, the Living Lizard!" is drawn by Don Heck and originally appeared in Astonishing Tales #9. Then, a John Doe lying in a roadside ditch has a fantastic story of alien invasion to tell in "Where Monsters Dwell," a story that first appeared in Marvel Tales #125.

Next, in a story from Unknown Worlds #17, the "Tough Guy" thinks no torment in Hell can make him shed a tear; not whips, or pitchforks or fiery lakes. But Satan has another trick up his sleeve! Finally, in "The Little Monster," drawn by Jack Abel, a suburban couple adopts an alien creature who gives them everything they could ever want. But when it finally returns to its home planet, it leaves behind a horror none could have guessed. This story first appeared in Mystery Tales #15.
