TWO-GUN KID (1948) #108 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Two-Gun Kid (1948) #108
Guest-starring the Rawhide Kid. Cover by Gil Kane. A feature length tale of revenge and justice dubbed "Fury at Falcon Flats!" is written by Larry Lieber and drawn by Dick Ayers and Vince Colletta. Our story begins with the Two-Gun Kid being drawn into a trap by a bunch of owlhoots who want him out of the way so they can rob the entire territory. He gets pinned down by riflemen hidden in the bluffs until the Rawhide Kid comes along and evens up the odds.

But when the leader of the bushwhackers recognizes the Rawhide Kid as the hero who put him behind bars several years ago, a crooked plan is hatched. The rannie escapes with one of the Kid's distinctive armbands and plants it at the scene of his next crime: a lethal attack on a U.S. Cavalry payroll stagecoach. Soon, the Rawhide Kid is picked up by the military police and put on trial for murder. As lawyer Matt Hawk, the Two-Gun Kid, tries to defend the Rawhide Kid but discovers he has no choice but to help him escape so he can prove his innocence. Then, read the tear-jerking story of "The Golden Palomino!"
