TOMB OF DRACULA (1972) (#1-70) (MARVEL) # - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Tomb of Dracula (1972) #48
Written by Marv Wolfman and drawn by Gene Colan and Tom Palmer. Enjoy this trilogy of terrifying tales centered on the scourge of vampirism and how it corrupts the lives of all it touches. We begin with "A Song For Marianne," the sad tale of a woman whose destiny became intertwined with that of Dracula's in the final days of the 19th century but whom now desires nothing more than to be released from her undying state in order to join her lover in oblivion.

Then, Dracula's descendant Frank Drake convinces skittish horror writer Harold H. Harold to join him in an attack on the Lord of Vampires in "Lost: One Vampire." However, convinced that Drake will fail and die, Rachel Van Helsing has secretly sabotaged his efforts. Next, in "Doppleganger," Blade and vampire detective Hannibal King make a shocking discovery when tracking down Deacon Frost: a vampire that looks just like Blade!
