THANOS IMPERATIVE (2010) #3 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Thanos Imperative (2010) #3
Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning. Art by Miguel Sepulveda and Jay David Ramos. Imagine that in order to save the universe you had to team up with its most dangerous villain. That’s the dilemma facing the Marvel Universe’s cosmic super-heroes when they find only Thanos, the Mad Titan who worships Death, holds the key to the salvation of all life. Incredibly powerful and grotesque beings from what has been called the Cancerverse are spilling into our reality through the Fault, a tear in space-time. As the Silver Surfer, Nova and Quasar wage a losing battle to stem the tide, more tactical and drastic measures are being taken.

On the other side, deep in enemy territory, the Guardians of the Galaxy have brought Thanos to the Cancerverse’s equivalent of Titan. There, the Machine Resistance, a group that includes the Vision, Machine Man, M-11, Jocasta, even H.E.R.B.I.E. (from Fantastic Four), defies Lord Mar-Vell and his forces who rule the Cancerverse with an iron fist. Together they seek a place where Thanos can perform a ritual to summon his mistress Death and end the Cancerverse’s unending life. But Mar-Vell is closing in and the Guardians’ ally Drax the Destroyer is single-minded in his life’s purpose: to kill Thanos!
