Plot Synopsis: Spider-Man (1963) #50
ďSpider-Man No More!Ē is written by Stan Lee and drawn by John Romita Sr. Inks by Mickey Dimeo. With great power, comes great responsibility. Thatís what Peter Parkerís Uncle Ben told him just before he died, slain by a crook that Spider-Man had let slip by him just minutes before. But with that responsibility comes endless sacrifice, struggle and toil. Spider-Manís work protecting the innocents of New York City and the world is never done. And although his commitment to justice is unwavering, gratitude is not universal among those he saves. In fact, some still think him a menace.

More, while Peter is away punching crooks in the face, his frail Aunt May falls ill with no one but kindly neighbor Mrs. Watson to look in on her. Beautiful Gwen Stacy and lovely Mary Jane Watson might provide Parker with some happiness but free time isnít a luxury Pete can afford, not with his grades slipping at school. Finally fed up with the interference Spider-Man poses to his life, Parker throws his Spidey suit away. J. Jonah Jameson, publisher of the Daily Bugle, is delighted that his long-time nemesis has hung up his webs. But crime hasnít stopped and the Kingpin uses Spideyís absence as an opportunity to launch a citywide crime-wave!
