SECRET INVASION (2008) #2 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Secret Invasion (2008) #2
Written by Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by Leinil Yu and Mark Morales. Heroes from the past, some thought long dead, have emerged from the wreckage of a Skrull starship in the Savage Land. Now begins the hard task of figuring out which Spider-Man, Wolverine and Luke Cage (to name just a few) is the real one and which is the Skrull. Iron Man's armor and his metabolism have been infected with a virus that shuts down not only the Golden Avenger but also all of S.H.I.E.L.D. It's all Stark can do to stay conscious as Ms. Marvel gets him out of harm's way until he can repair his armor.

Ronin (Hawkeye) becomes convinced that the Mockingbird that appears before him is actually his wife he thought dead and she convinces him that the Captain America she's traveled with is the real deal as well. But as the Vision engages the Sentry, he swiftly transforms into the form of the Void, the Sentry's dark half, sending our hero's mind reeling. The timely intervention of a tyrannosaurus Rex breaks up the initial skirmish and scatters the combatants into the jungle; confusing matters even more. When your opponent can take any form at a moment's notice, how can you trust anyone? Meanwhile, back in New York, a Skrull war party lands in Times Square and uses every borrowed power in the book to lay waste to Earth's defenses!
