SAMUREE (1987) (#1-9) (CONTINUITY) #3 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Samuree (1987) #3
"Trapped" is written by Elliot Maggin with art by Mark Beachum. Neal Adams, Brian Garvey and Ian Akin provide inks. Guest-starring the Revengers. Coney Island is the setting for a nightmarish kidnapping that has international and even supernatural overtones. Hollywood special effects master Tom Savini, genetic engineer Chira Miller and soldier of fortune Paul Glenot don't seem to have anything in common except that they've all been taken against their will. Now their captor, the mysterious Mr. Blue, wants them to help complete a deadly mission, one involving re-animated corpses turned assassins!

The načve but extremely talented beauty named Samuree has teamed up with Megalith, Armor and Silver Streak to try to rescue the three hostages but instead end up fighting the aforementioned zombie-assassins, genetically mutated sharks and in the case of Samuree, her own tortured memories. Another hostage, Jeri-Ann, seems to soothe the troubled girl and gets her to relate the history of the island of her birth, a place of great tranquility and home to the greatest martial artists on the face of the Earth! But remembering too much can be dangerous not only to Samuree but to everyone around her!
