PROMETHEA (1999) #16 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Promethea #16
"Love and the Law" is written by Alan Moore and penciled by J.H. Williams III. In a special, Peter Max-inspired issue, Promethea continues her journey through the higher realms of thought with her predecessor by her side. It's a tantric journey through a sea of pure emotion, past the source of Love itself and onto the high, dry ground of Self. It's there, in the pale, murky gloom, the pair meets the Tarot manifestation of Death and become reborn in the act of dying.

Meanwhile, back in the temporal world, the new Promethea continues to wreak havoc in her mad pursuit of justice at any cost. Her next target is Mayor Baskerville, whose inner demons are beginning the get the upper hand in his twisted mind. But can the city's sworn defenders keep the new, no-nonsense Promethea at bay? Moore invites the reader to join Promethea in her exploration of what makes up the mind, soul and the world and how those are interconnected to her powers as the living embodiment of an idea.
